About the Course

Our instructor, Bianca Y. Michaels, who is an experienced Sustainability Consultant (and also our founder!) will be teaching the basics and most frequently asked questions about the SDGs to adults, both online and in person.

Duration: 1h

Sessions: 20* (Intro + 17 Goals + Recap + Test)

      *private lessons are not limited to 20 sessions.

You will be receiving a Diploma for Participation at the end of the course, regardless of the test result!

We will be focusing on what we can do practically, as individuals, as citizens and as members of our families and local communities to achieve each target.

Private Lessons:  2500 yen/ per hour/ per person

Group Lessons: 

> Group of 5:  1500 yen/ per session/ per person

> Group of 10 or more*:  1000 yen/ per session/ per person

     *lecture style, no participation

Instructor  Profile

Bianca Y. Michaels is Canadian-Romanian, but came to Japan in 2011 with an internship at Toyota Motors Corporation. After that ended, she has continued to work as a business consultant in Tokyo for 5 years, eventually becoming a freelance Sustainability Consultant in 2015, when she launched the Zero Waste Japan International group.

She holds a Certificate in Achieving the SDGs offered by the official SDGs Academy and taught by the Commissioner of the UN Broadband Commission for Development,

Dr. Jeffrey D. Sachs.

She is currently enrolled in Harvard Extension School graduate school, majoring in

Global Development Practice.

She is the founder and active leader of the Heal The World organization.
